The Unlocked Diary

Hey Peeps!
Its hump day! (I know what your thinking and you people have dirty minds, I mean because its Wed, you know we are over most the week and its all down hill from here for Friday...) Today I have the cover reveal for the sequel to Dirty Blood (reviewed on this blog during Werewolf Week) titled COLD BLOOD!! I am super excited because I loved Dirty Blood and I think that Cold Blood will be awesome.

So here it is in all its glory:

I know, its awesome, right?
And heres a little information to whet your appetite for the release of this fab book (due out this fall by the way)

Wood Point Academy is not at all what I expected. For one thing, it looks like a cross between military school and Buckingham Palace. Everyone stares, the floors shine so bright you can see your reflection in them from a mile away, and no one smiles. Unless they're kicking your butt in the process. Which happens more often than not for the freshman. Lucky for them, my presence has just stolen the spotlight, and they get a break from the daily joys of hazing.

At least I've got plenty to take my mind off the fact that my psycho cousin, Miles De'Luca, keeps calling and declaring his love and promising to come for me just as soon as he's destroyed anyone standing in our way. Wes isn't going to like that idea.

So between Miles, Wood Point's evil welcoming commitee, and the drill sergeant hottie trainer from hell, I just keep asking myself, how did I end up here?

I turned the words green so they matched the cover. Aren't I just sooo creative? LMAO

If you haven't already read Dirty Blood (Seriously how can you visit my blog and NOT have read this werewolf book? Its a crime.), you can download it for your Kindle for just .99!

In honor of the cover reveal, Heather (Yes, the author) is hosting a giveaway on her blog, where you can enter to win a signed PAPERBACK of Dirty Blood, fresh off the press with its own new cover art. Have a great Wednesday!!!

Werewolf Week around here was the most successful week here at The Unlocked Diary and if any of my Peeps remember we closed out Werewolf Week with an interview and a giveaway with Heather Hildenbrand and her novel Dirty Blood. Well….

Dirty Blood has received a facelift! Check out the brand new cover for Heather Hildenbrand’s newest YA paranormal romance, now available as an ebook on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and other major ebook retail outlets for just $0.99! Also available in paperback from Amazon or CreateSpace for $11 plus shipping, or visit her website at www.heatherhildenbrand.blogspot.com for more information or to order a signed copy.

Here it is in all its beauty:

And here’s a little something about Dirty Blood: I killed a girl last night. I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that’s not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can’t seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted – and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws. But by the time I stood over her lifeless body, she was a girl again. That’s about the time I went into shock… And that was the moment he showed up.

Now, all I can do is accept the truths that are staring me in the face. One, Werewolves do exist. And two, I was born to kill them.

A note from Heather: Thanks so much for all the support from readers and fans that have already made this book a huge success for me. I hope you love the new cover just as much as I do! As a thank you, I’m offering a giveaway! A free ebook (format of your choice) to a lucky winner. Also, thanks to my bloggers for helping to reveal the new cover in style! I couldn’t do this without you!

Be sure to check in with my blog for the cover reveal of Book 2: Cold Blood, which is scheduled for unveiling in September. Cold Blood is due to release in November.
